At the age of 53, Elon Musk has welcomed his 14th child, his fourth one with Shivon Zilis.
Taking to ‘X’, formerly Twitter, Zilis made the announcement on Friday, February 28, writing that they have become parents to a second son, Seldon Lycurgus.
Zilis, however, did not disclose exactly when Seldon was born.
Her tweet read: “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much.” Musk replied to Zilis’ X post with a heart emoji.
In November 2021, Zilis and the founder of Tesla — who has been elevated to the status of senior advisor to the President of the United States, since Donald Trump took office for his second term — had shared that they had ‘secretly’ welcomed twins: a son named ‘Strider’, and a daughter named ‘Azure’.
According to news reports, the twins were born merely weeks before Musk and musician Grimes welcomed their baby girl ‘Exa Dark Sider l’ via a surrogate.
On February 28, 2024, Zilis and Musk had welcomed their third child together, a daughter whom they named ‘Arcadia’.
Sources confirm that Musk and Zilis are really close, and that he loves her dearly.
Grimes and Musk, meanwhile, have three children together: son ‘X A-12’, four, daughter Exa Dark Sider l, three, and son ‘Techno Mechanicus’ aka ‘Tau’, two.
On February 15, 2025, author Ashley St. Clair announced on X that she had given birth to Musk’s 13th child, a son named ‘R.S.C’.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she wrote.
In 2002, Musk became a father for the first time, when his ex-wife Justine Wilson gave birth to their son Nevada Alexander. The baby, however, died at 10 weeks of age. The couple welcomed five more children: twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, and triplets Saxon, Kai, and Damian, 19.
