Less than 12 hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, winner of the governorship election, the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Funke Akindele, has deleted all posts relating to politics and the PDP from her Instagram page.
The actress had put her acting career on hold for her involvement in politics, but she seemed to be exiting quickly from her political engagements and returning to her first love, acting.
While her party had yet to make an official statement about the outcome of the election, as of thd timr of this report, Akindele appeared to have dumped the PDP and politics.
Posts that are now visible on her page of 15.7 million followers are those of her movie promotion and other personal posts, a report by PSN said.
