The Ekiti Government has appointed Tosin Popoola as the Media Officer of the Ekiti United FC Feeder team.
Dr Olusola Osetoba, Gov. Biodun Oyebanji’s technical adviser on sports, announced this while presenting a letter of appointment to Popoola in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday.
Osetoba, while congratulating him, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
She urged him to serve diligently with absolute loyalty in his new position.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Popoola is an experienced journalist, currently working with Voice FM 89.9 in Ado-Ekiti.
Reacting ,Popoola, promised to be committed to the development of the team and uphold the confidence reposed in him.
He assured the management of the team that he would use the media to project the club’s activities.
The media officer expressed gratitude to God, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ekiti state chapter and all who recommended him for the appointment.(NAN)
