The Body of Retired Tutors-General of Ekiti State has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his “resounding and historic” re-election victory, describing it as a vote of confidence in his people-oriented leadership.

In a congratulatory letter dated July 13, 2026 and addressed to the Governor, the group said the outcome of the gubernatorial poll reflects the trust Ekiti people have in Oyebanji’s commitment to good governance, transparency, infrastructure development, and educational advancement.

“As retired education administrators who devoted the greater part of our lives to the development of education and human capital in Ekiti State, we are particularly delighted by your unwavering commitment to the growth of the education sector and the respect your administration has continued to accord retired public servants,” the letter stated.

Signed by the Chairman of the Body, Chief Martins Temitayo Ilori, the retired tutors noted that Oyebanji’s first term laid a solid foundation in key sectors and expressed optimism that the second term will bring “greater peace, progress, prosperity, and sustainable development” to the state.
