Segun Oni, candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, and Bisi Kolawole, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have both won their polling units.
Segun Oni scored 218 votes in his polling unit in Ward 2, Ido-Osi, leaving the All Progressives Congress guber candidate with 15 votes and PDP’s candidate, with 2 votes.
Bisi Kolawole reportedly won his pollinhlg unit with 98 votes out of 116 accredited votes.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 13 votes while Social Democratic Party (SDP) had 2 votes. Labour Party (LP) recorded one vote. Two votes were voided.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Electoral Officer, had said that a total number of 322 voters were registered but116 were accredited.
Speaking to journalists after the result was announced, Kolawole, who lamented voters’ apathy, said he was happy to deliver his polling unit with a landslide victory.
