The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ekiti State has pasted the “Notice of Election” for the State Governorship Election slated for June 2022.
This was in continence with its tradition of keeping to the rule and in accordance with the Timetable and Schedule of Activities issued last year.
This information was made available to journalists on Tuesday by Rotimi Lawrence Oyekanmi, Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu, who said the Notice of Election for the Ekiti State Governorship Election had been published and pasted on the notice board on the premises of INEC in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.
“The Commission’s office in Ekiti State yesterday (Monday) pasted the “Notice of Election” for the Ekiti State Governorship Election holding in June this year on its notice board”.
“This is in accordance with the Timetable and Schedule of Activities issued last year”, Oyekanmi said in a terse statement.
