Ghana has declared Friday, 6th June 2025, as a public holiday.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior informed the public of the decision.
“The general public [sic] is hereby informed that Friday, 6th June 2025, marks Eid-Ul-Adha, which is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country,” Interior minister, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak [MP], said in a statement dated Nay 29, 2025.
