The Ife North House of Assembly elect, Hon. Abidemi Oyewusi on Friday greeted the Muslim faithful in Ife North, Osun State, and across the globe on the completion of Ramadan fast.
Hon. Oyewusi in a statement released through his media and digital communication aide, Segun Amure, urged the Muslim faithful to sustain the lessons and blessings of Ramadan as the fast had ended.
Hon. Oyewusi noted that the passion for prayers, forgiveness, concerns for the less privileged, and community engagement, among others that were learned during the period of fasting, should be cultivated in building peaceful co-existence in communities.
He equally appreciated all the Imams in Ife North and other Islamic associations for the message of peace, unity, and love preached from the beginning of Ramadan to the end.
His statement reads, ” All thanks and praises to Allah (SWT) the merciful for the grace he has given unto us to witness the completion of this year Ramadan.
“I urged our Muslim faithful to sustain all the lessons and blessings of Ramadan. The passion to pray, forgiveness, concern for others, and other virtues learned during Ramadan.
“It is important to appreciate all the Imams in Ife North and other Islamic associations for their timely lectures which kept us focused on Allah. May Allah (SWT) continue to equip you with wisdom.
“With cooperation, peace, and unity, we will get to the promised land”.
