
Popular businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana, has yet to be released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and this is official.
He has been a guest of the anti-graft agency for two days running at headquarters at Jabi in Abuja.
Cubana’s travel passport has been reportedly seized, consequently upon his arrest on Monday on suspicion of money laundering and tax fraud activities.
With his travel passport seized, it would be difficult for him to travel out of the country during his investigation..
Spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, according to sundry media reports, confirmed that Cubana was still in custody, adding, however, that he was not aware of the seizure of the businessman’s passport.
