An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) died on Sunday after collapsing on a street in Lagos State.
The officer, identified as Remedy S. Yange, according to witnesses’ accounts slumped abruptly.
He was on leave from work to spend time with his family staying in Lagos.
Until his death, Yange, according to sundry media reports, was working at the Benue Office of the EFCC.
EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale, confirmed the incident.
He said that an investigation was underway to unravel the circumstances behind the late officer’s death.
