The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, over allegations bordering on fraud.
It was gathered that the Speaker was nabbed by the EFCC operatives on Thursday morning at the Muritala Muhammad Airport, Lagos State.
Oluomo was said to have been on the EFCC wanted list following his failure to honour the commission’s invitation several times.
The Speaker and some others were accused of forging signatures and financial documents of the assembly.
