Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office said 10 suspected internet fraudsters had been arrested for various offences bordering on cybercrime in Enugu.
In a statement, the media and publicity unit of the agency said the suspects included Ben- Ihedi Lucky, Akam Abraham Odinaka, Kanu Chinemerem, Ben-Ihedi Victor, Okechukwu Kelvin and Ben Ikedi Victor.
Others were Emenike Michael, Godswill Nkemjika, Emmanuel Samuel and Ethasor Emmanuel.
It added that their arrest at Monarch Avenue, Maryland, Enugu, was sequel to actionable intelligence obtained by the Commission on their alleged fraudulent activities.
The agency said two Lexus RX 350 cars with registration numbers BDG- 736-GX and BDG-146-GX were recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest.
Other incriminating materials recovered from them included various mobile phones and a laptop computer.
The statement said the suspects would be arraigned as soon as the investigations were concluded.
In a related development, operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Office of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission also arrested five suspected internet fraudsters also known as “Yahoo-Yahoo Boys” for offences bordering on cybercrime at the International Airport, Ilorin.

The suspects were Oladosu Olakunmi Olamilekan, Olaoye Jamiu Olarewaju, Alimi Abiodun, Toheed Muritala and Afolabi Kamaldeen.
The arrest was sequel to intelligence obtained by the Commission about the arrival of the suspects who flew into Ilorin from Lagos on Monday, May 17, 2021.
Four of the arrested suspects were students of Kwara State University, KWASU, Malete, while the fifth suspect is a student of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.
A Mercedes Benz C300, mobile phones and a laptop computer were recovered from them at the point of arrest.
The agency said the suspects had volunteered useful statements to the Commission and would be arraigned as soon as investigations were concluded.
