The Management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma, Edo State has firmly denied recent rumours suggesting an increase in tuition fees for its students.
The Acting Registrar, Ambrose E. Odiase, issued a statement clarifying the situation and dispelling the false information circulating in the media.
Odiase emphasized that the tuition fees for returning students in the 2022/2023 academic session would remain unchanged.
He expressed the need to rectify the misleading claims propagated by mischievous individuals who had been disseminating inconsistent and exaggerated figures as the official fee structure of the university.
“To set the record straight and ensure everyone is well informed,” Odiase stated, adding “there will be no tuition fee increase for returning students of Edo University in the 2022/2023 session. The fees will remain the same as they were in the 2021/2022 academic session.”
He further encouraged prospective students to visit the university’s official website at https://aauekpoma.edu.ng/…/school-fees-schedule-for…/ to access the relevant fee schedules. By reviewing the information provided, potential students can make an informed decision about their desire to enroll at the university.
Odiase also emphasized that admission offers are provisional until the students complete the matriculation process.
He clarified that the admission offer would expire two weeks from the date of the admission list’s publication, and payment of the acceptance fee would determine the students’ registration for matriculation.
“The university will not exceed its admission quota.
“The management of the University hopes that the above information will be thoroughly understood and urges individuals seeking further clarification on the issue of fees to visit the university’s website provided above,” he said.
