The Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has commiserated with the family, friends and associates of the late Mrs Evelyn Igbafe, who passed on Monday.
The party said it received the news of the passing of Mrs Igbafe with shock and sadness.
“Mrs Igbafe was a dedicated, loyal and committed member of our great party. Her counsel was a blessing and added value to the development and growth of the party in not just in Etsako Central Local Government Area where she was a leader, but the whole of Edo state,” the party said in a statement signed by Tony Aziegbemi, Edo PDP chairman.
“We pray that God will grant her family, friends, associates, well wishers and members of PDP in Edo state and beyond the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. We can only ask them to stay strong in this trying time.
“May her soul rest In Peace,” the party said.
