The Edo North senatorial zone held its quarterly meeting at Country home residence of BOT member, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, in Agenebode, on Saturday 16th October 2021. The meeting was attended by the National Vice Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, the Edo North Member of BOT Chief Raymond Dokpesi, State Working Committee members from the zone (State Secretary Chief Hillary Otsu and State Auditor Dr. Wilson Imongan, all the LGA and Ward Chairmen from the zone, as well as 2 leaders representing each ward. The following resolutions were adopted, stating:

1. That Edo North Senatorial PDP, and Edo State PDP, remain committed to a strong and indivisible party.

2. That all hands must be on deck to work towards a successful national convention coming up in Abuja in a few weeks.

4. That the tenets and constitution of the PDP shall be upheld at all times in all party activities, especially with regards to the illegal meetings being held in some constituencies claiming to “harmonise” LGA and Ward Excos.
It was noted that if Chief Dan Orbih was originally involved in the negotiations for Governor Obaseki’s adoption, the process would have been better managed and the current imbroglio would have been averted.

5. That the perpetrators of the illegal suspension will be identified and disciplinary measures shall be imposed on them.
