An Abuja-based legal practitioner, Mr.Esezobor Emmanuel Izibili (Notary Public), Worthy Advocate (Wuse Subcouncil) of The Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria, has thrown his weight behind the aspiration of Senator Monday Okpebholo aka “Akpakomiza” for the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidacy in 2024.
Izibili, who is a seasoned politician in Esan Central, made this known in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to Izibili, the endorsement was grounded in the fact that Okpebholo had exceptional qualities as a leader/follower, and his unwavering commitment to the betterment of Edo State.

According to Izibili, “Senator Okpebholo’s widespread positive popularity stems from his humility, accessibility, openness, and genuine desire to identify with people and uplift them from poverty.
“He has demonstrated this heartwarming willingness to connect with Edo people both at official level and on a personal ground, understanding their plights and needs and most importantly solving same.
“Senator Okpebholo’s commitment to security is evident in his purchase of patrol vehicles for Atanakpa Security Network, a move to combat insecurity in Esanland, ensuring the safety of property and the well-being of the people.
“His introduction of free transport system to mitigate the effects of fuel subsidy removal underscores his proactive approach to addressing the economic challenges faced by commuters, while showcasing his dedication to the welfare of people.
“It is also worthy of note, that Senator Okpebholo’s provision of clean drinking water to communities through boreholes, granting of scholarships, and other educational schemes and his empowerment initiatives for market women through the provision of grinding and sewing machines, speak volume and exemplify his commitment to grassroots development and economic blueprint.”
