A former National Assembly candidate for the House of Representatives and Director General of the Dickson Oarhe Campaign Network (DO-CAN), Dickson Oarhe, has urged Edolites to vote wisely in the Saturday’s state governorship election in order to ensure a prosperous and robust democracy in the state.
He asserted that it was only through participatory democracy that its numerous positive dividends could be attained.
Oarhe harped on the need for all political parties, candidates of the various parties, supporters, interest/pressure groups and movements, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to tread the part of justice, equity, transparency, fairness, truth and justice.
In a statement, Oarhe appealed to the people of Edo to come out to vote massively for candidates of their choice advising voters to avoid rancour as the election is a contest of a big united family.
“In light of this, we are appealing to all Edolites to make the right decision now through their votes. Given the critical moment and the reality on the ground across the board, Edo needs someone who will further attract investors to the state. We need someone who can create wealth and further boost the economy of the state for the overall benefits and well-being of all Edolites“, Oarhe asserted.
