The ECOWAS Community Court of Justice will hold a sensitisation mission and external court session in Conakry from May 13–18, 2026, to expand access to regional justice and raise awareness of its mandate.
The mission on May 13–14 will target citizens, legal professionals, and institutions with stakeholder meetings, technical sessions, and a public legal clinic offering guidance on the Court’s jurisdiction and procedures.

Lawyers, law students, and judges from the ECOWAS Court and Guinean judiciary will also hold interactive dialogues.
Participants will include government officials, academics, civil society groups, media, and the public.
From May 15–18, the Court will convene hybrid sessions to deliver 16 decisions—14 judgments and 2 rulings—and hear 8 cases.
The Court said the outreach aims to bring regional justice closer to citizens, strengthen cooperation with national institutions, and promote rule of law and human rights across West Africa.
