In a Monarchy the King is the Law , in a Democracy the Law is the King.

President Mohammedu Buhari is a trail blazer for the good , the bad and the Ugly .President Buhari is the first person in Nigeria ‘s History to defeat a sitting President. He has also achieved many firsts. He is the first Nigerian Leader to unleash the Anti Corruption Agencies on high profile state and non state actors .

He is also the first Nigerian Leader to change the Nigerian Naira -the Official Currency twice -in 1984 and now in 2023.He is also the first Nigerian Leader to be a Minister (of Petroleum) in 1978 and a Minister in 2023 .

It is in the currency swap and redesign policy that President Buhari has assumed a new appellation:To wit: Nigeria ‘s Supreme Leader.

How else do you explain the situation where the Supreme Court -the highest Court in the land gives an Order restraining the Federal Government from implementing its suffering induced policy and the President through a National Broadcast in the Morning of Thursday 16th February, 2023 , vary the order by ordering the release of old N200 notes, only .

This is how full blown dictatorship starts any where in the world. Buhari is testing the microphone of dictatorship and we the people have to unblog it .The National Assembly should immediately reconvene and call the President to Order .

The Supreme Court itself owes the Nigerian People a duty to show that it is not a toothless bulldog .To this end , the Attorney General of the Federation the Party on record at the Supreme Court , should be held in contempt.Let it be that the Law is not a respected of any one , no matter how highly placed and that there are no sacred cows.If Inebehe Effiong could be sent to prison for standing to be counted as counsel , Let the Attorney General of the Federation be sent to prison for disobeying Court Orders , which are glaring and for being part of the President varying the order of the Supreme Court.

President Buhari must know that there is Law in Nigeria and Court Orders are for the governed and the Government. The Government can not pick and choose which Court Order to obey as doing so , is an invitation to anarchy .

The Pandemonium that occurred in Benin , Kogi , Abuja , Ibadan and Delta stems out of the disobedience of the Order of the Supreme Court. We are under the Law .Section 1 (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ,1999 (As Amended) says on the Supremacy of the Constitution and by extension the primacy of the Rule of Law , thus:

This Constitution is Supreme and binding on all persons , authorities and institutions all across the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

President Mohammedu Buhari is not the Law .It is the Law the controls us all including President Mohammedu Buhari. The old Naira notes of all denominations by the Order of the Supreme Court are still legal tender in Nigeria. Buhari should wake up from his slumber , there is Law in this Country, else he and his cohorts will end up in shame and infamy.
