A United Kingdom based Orthopaedic Surgeon and former national president of the National Association of Resident Doctors of Nigeria (NARD), Dr Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi has felicitated Dr Philip Ugbodaga on his appointment as the Acting Medical Director of the newly established National Orthopedic Hospital in Edo State.
In a personal statement released from his base in the UK, Dr Okhuaihesuyi, a renowned orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in arthroscopy and arthroplasty said he was delighted to hear about the appointment of Dr Philip Ugbodaga as the Medical Director of the National Orthopaedic Hospital Edo State.
His statement reads: “Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement! Your dedication and hard work have clearly paid off, and I have no doubt that you will excel in this new role.

He pledged the support of Nigerian orthpaedic surgeons based in the Diaspora to the new medical director in his stated plan to establish high quality and standard patient-focused care when fully operational.
Dr Ugbodaga, a renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon, with special interest in cranio-maxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgical management, was appointed as the Medical Director of the hospital a few days ago.
