President Bola Tinubu is presiding over the inaugural Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting of his administration at the State House in Abuja.
Forty-five ministers were on August 21, 2023 inaugurated.
The president had tasked them with contributing to the realization of his administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
The president emphasised the importance of integrity and effective service delivery.
The FEC meeting began with the national anthem and pledge, and the press had since been requested to leave the hall.
Attending the FEC meeting are Vice President Kashim Shettima; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the Head of the Civil Service of the federation, Dr (Mrs) Folashade Yemi-Esan and the Chief of Staff to the President president, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.
This is coming a week after the President inaugurated the new cabinet members.
Recall that except for emergencies, the immediate past administration fixed Wednesday for its weekly FEC meeting.
