On his first official day as President, Bola Tinubu arrived at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday around 2:30pm.
Vice-president Kashim Shettima, as well as other high-ranking government officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Permanent Secretary of the State House, Tijjani Umar, welcomed him at the forecourt of his office.
Others in attendance included Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Mr Wale Edun, Mr. Dele Alake, and Hon. James Faleke.
Sources hinted that Tinubu was scheduled to meet with the NNPCL GCEO Kyari and CBN Governor Emefiele on his arrival at the office, reportedly to address the brewing fuel crisis.
