President Bola Tinubu is in talks with a former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Kwankwaso, a former defence minister and NNPP presidential candidate in the February 25, 2023 prezidentisl election, is the first significant opponent of Tinubu in the poll to meet with him.
THE CONCLAVE reports that Tinubu is reaching out to critical stakeholders to forge unity and form a government of national competence.
There are feelers that Tinubu may consider some of these significant interests in the formation of his cabinet in the next two to three weeks.
The President had already held two meetings with a former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike.
He had also met with the PDP’s G-5 or Integrity Group comprising serving and former governors.
