Developing: Three Scientists win Nobel Prize for Physics

Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Krausz and Anne L’Huillier have won the 2023 Nobel Prize in physics for “experimental methods that generate attosecond pulses of light for the study of electron dynamics in matter”, according to the award-giving body.

The award was announced in the Swedish capital Stockholm on Tuesday morning.

This is the second Nobel of the season after the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine announced on Monday.
