Three supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were injured on Thursday following an explosion at the party’s rally in Rivers State.
Reports said the explosion occurred at the Rumuwoji Playground in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The incident was confirmed by the APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Darlington Nwauju.
He said that the injured persons had been taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State Police Command had yet to speak on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
