Tension and anxiety have reportedly engulfed residents of Kuje town in Abuja amid fears of terrorists’ attacks in and around the premises of the Correctional Centre (Prisons).
A report by a source who lives in Kuje received about 11 pm indicated that terrorists were feared to have invaded the Kuje Correctional Centre.
Read the report unedited: “There are heavy gun shots going on in Kuje around the prison now. Too heavy to describe. Shooting and bombing the area now almost 2 hours. Help contact security forces.”
THE CONCLAVE could not confirm if reinforcements had been deployed in Kuje on a counter attack as if press time, to save the inmates at the Correctional Centre if it was actually an attack targeted at the centre.
