Newly-elected President of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Afam Osigwe, has been sworn in as 32nd President of the association.
Osigwe took the oath of office on Thursday in a ceremony held in Lagos
Osigwe secured the position by defeating two other contestants with 59.52 per cent of votes cast.
The former General Secretary of NBA was declared the winner by Chairman of Electoral Committee of the NBA, Oluseun Abimbola.
Osigwe, in his inaugural speech, pledged his commitment to ensure that NBA remains a powerful voice in the nation’s democratic process.
He also expressed gratitude to members of the association for trusting him to lead them right.
