There were feelers that she might have resigned over ethnic battle of supremacy and survival rocking the Obaseki-led government in its twilight.

Besides, there was an unconfirmed claim of personal animosity with the Chief of Staff to the governor, Osaigbivo Iyoha over her alleged disrespect for the governor.

Claim doing the rounds was that her office was once shut by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Osaigbovo Iyoha, because she refused to yield her seat in a commercial flight to the governor.

She was also said to be against the idea of the State Government paying billions of Edo tax payers money to Mr. Chris Osarimwense’s company Greenfields, in the name of Edo State Civil Service transformation.

Both of them had a running battle that lasted for over two years.

THE CONCLAVE reports that when she turned in her resignation on Thursday, the Governor told her to hand over toh one of his business consultants, Mr. Osarumwense of Grienfields Nig Ltd.
