Developing: NLC, Kaduna State, FGN meet in Abuja to resolve industrial dispute

The Federal Government is mediating at a meeting to resolve an industrial dispute between the Kaduna Government and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).

The meeting held on Thursday in Abuja and was still going on as of press time.

The Kaduna State Government was represented by the Commissioner for Local government Affairs, Jafaru Sani, Head of Service, B. Muhammed, Special Adviser Intergovernmental relations, Hannatu Dalhatu and Managing Director Kaduna Market Development Company, Muhammed Hafiz Bayero.

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Ayuba Wabba and his Deputy Najib Usman Yasin and other officials of the organized labour were at the meeting.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige and his team represented the Federal Government.

A statement is expected to be issued at the end of the meeting.
