A luminous epoch in column writing has ended somewhat abruptly with the death of Michesl West, a brilliant and prolific columnist across sundry media platforms.
The death of Micheal West happened on Sunday in a fatal road crash while on his way to Ilesa.
A report by Newspot, one of the news platforms on which Michael West ran his column said his passing was confirmed by a friend of the columnist, Mr Bola Bolawole, who also is a columnist, in a telephone conversation.
Bolawole was quoted to have said that he got a phone call from one of his children who told him that West lost his life in a fatal motor accident while on his way to Ilesa.
