At least five people have been confirmed dead as gas explosion rocked Ladipo Spare Parts Market in Lagos.
The National Emergency Management Agency said the LPG domestic retailing Centre where the explosion occurred was located at Ojekunle Street, Ladipo Spare Part market.
The agency said the fire had been put out already and recovery of bodies ongoing.
The agency said that so far five bodies had been recovered.

It was learnt that the scene, 33/35, Ojekunle Street was said to have been sealed because the side of the street was dedicated as mechanical Village on which no other user is allowed.
However, after sometimes, the seal and lock were said to have been removed before the incident occurred.
Those recovered dead include four adults, ( three males, one female) and a 10- year -old boy.
Rescue efforts by residents were said to be ongoing as of the time of this report.
