DEVELOPING: Gov Okowa’s father succumbs to COVID-19 complications at 89

The father of Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa Sir Arthur Okowa, is dead.

He was aged 89, having been born circa 1932.

He reportedly died from COVID-19 infection and complications.

Arthur Okowa died Thursday (January 28, 2021) morning at the Federal Medical Centre in Asaba.

Until his death, the late Chief Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa was the Okpara-Uku of Owa-Alero.

He hailed from Owa-Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area of the State.
