Chief Executive Officer of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, announced that Binance Nigeria Limited is scam, plunging financial investments into a storm.
His announcement was made via a statement on his twitter handle.
The CEO issued the statement on Sunday, June 18.
This is coming a few weeks after the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria declared that Binance Nigeria was operating illegally in Nigeria.
Binance is a leading cryptocurrency platform in the world that individuals use to trade cryptocurrencies.

Earlier this month, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria had stated that Binance Nigeria, a subsidiary of global cryptocurrency exchange Binance, is operating illegally in Nigeria as it is not registered or regulated by the SEC.
