The Enugu Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested some officials of the Abia State government for matters relating to the Paris Club refund.
Information reaching The Conclave has it that they were arrested in the evening of Thursday, June 17, 2021.
Their arrested officials are to explain to.the anti-graft agency their respective roles in the Paris Refund scandal.
The officials said to have been detained at the Enugu Zonal Office of the anti graft commissin are both former and serving members of the Abia State Government
Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, as of the time of filing this report, were unsuccessful.
