President Muhammadu Buhari launched into a meeting with the newly-confirmed Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa behind closed doors at the State House.
Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, was in the meeting, though he arrived some minutes after it had begun.
The agenda of the meeting had yet to be know, but the interaction might be largely to familiarise himself with the President.
The President might take the opportunity to give him a pep talk on the government mandate to fight corruption to the finish.
