As predicted by bookmakers, a former Vice-president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is coasting home to victory at the presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abuja.
As of the last rough count by THE CONCLAVE, Atiku had garnered about 368 votes while Rivers State Givernor, Nyesom Wike, had scored 230.
Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki had scored about 70.
Others are trailing behind.
The counting was on as of the time of this publication.
If Atiku maintains the tempo , he will be announced any time soon as the winner of the process and official standard bearer of the PDP in the 2023 presidential poll.
