■ Etiebet reacts

Chief Etiebet, the Atuekong of Annang, in a statement to THE CONCLAVE, wrote: “Oh my God, may his great soul rest in perfect peace.

“He was a great businessman, a politicians’ politician, a philanthropist, and a humble nationalist.

“We will all miss him and his intermediary roles in Nigerian politics and governance.”

■ Olusunle mourns

Dr Olusunle, poet, scholar, journalist and presidential aide to Olusegun Obasanjo in his reaction wrote: “Uhhh…😭 I never met a man like him.
