Popular political activist and convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has hailed the Chief Imam of Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque, Shiekh Nuru Khalid, after he was suspended for criticising President Muhammadu Buhari over the repeated attacks by bandits on the Abuja-Kaduna bound train.
Khalid was sanctioned by the Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque Committee for criticising President Buhari.
The Chief Imam was barred from ministering at the Mosque following his criticism of the ineffectiveness of the country’s security system in dealing with the nation’s current security crisis.
However, Adeyanju, in a post on his Facebook page, hailed Khalid for criticising President Buhari’s handling of the security challenges confronting the country.
Adeyanju, who is a strong critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, wrote: “May God bless Mallam.”
