You have exhibited exemplary character throughout your political career. Your record as the Senate President of the 8th Nigerian Senate remains unmatched in the history of our country despite the reign of tyranny at the time.
Also noteworthy were the deliberate efforts to prevent the government of the day from plunging the nation into unnecessary debts as the senate under your leadership rejected about eleven frivolous loan requests.
Furthermore, I am particularly grateful to you for the goodwill and support you showed to the family of my late friend, Comrade Ariyo, after his unfortunate demise. May God bless you, Sir.
May your light continue to shine bright as you continue to navigate the onerous task of nation building.
