The Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has renamed the road to the Dangote Refinery in Lagos after the late former Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe.

Dangote renamed the refinery road after Wigwe as part of ways to immortalise the late banking icon.

The Africa’s richest person made this known at an event to celebrate Wigwe in Lagos on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Speaking at the event tagged, “Celebrating Herbert Wigwe – A Professional Legacy”, Dangote said: “To immortalise my beloved friend, my brother, and my mentee, I have actually decided to name … major refinery and petrochemical road, out of the 120 kilometres, the biggest road will now be named ‘Herbert Wigwe’.”
