A shocking clash between men of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, and Vehicle Inspection Office, VIO, has been captured in a video that is doing the rounds online.
The clash took place at the VIO office, but there was no indication as to date and time.
The incident has raised concerns about the escalating tensions between and among operatives of security agencies in the nation’s capital.
Although the reason behind the clash had yet to be determined as of press time, the incident comes barely a week after a similar confrontation between civilians and soldiers at the popular Banex Plaza in Abuja.
The earlier incident had resulted in a significant military presence in the area that led to the shutting down of the plaza for more than one week.
