The video assistant referee (VAR) and referee Darren England, however, ruled that Marc Guehi was too close to the Chelsea wall, and it was ruled out.

Neither side came close to scoring from there as two well-drilled defences cancelled each other out.

Chelsea will travel to West Ham United for their next game on Friday.

Palace will host Nottingham Forest in their next Premier League game. [Prompt News]
