Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday night, announced 340 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 51,304 cases.
NCDC data for the new cases revealed that Kaduna topped the list with 63, FCT-51, Plateau-38, Lagos-33, Delta-25, Gombe-21, Adamawa-21, Edo-20 and Katsina-17.
Others are Akwa Ibom-11, Ekiti-10, Rivers-9, Ondo-5, Ebonyi-4, Cross River-3, Ogun-3, Sokoto-2, Imo-2 and Nasarawa-2.
The data from the health agency showed that the country has recorded 996 deaths due the pandemic. It further stated that there were 11,596 active cases, while 37,885 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
