Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported that countrywide COVID-19 cases have increased by 71.
The total number of recorded cases in the last 24 hours stood at 163,652.
NCDC’s daily records showed that Lagos had 24 new cases, while Yobe recorded 13 and Rivers 9.
While Akwa Ibom, FCT and Kano documented 6, Osun had a record of 3, Delta 2, Jigawa and Plateau had 1 respectively.
The NCDC records indicated one COVID-19-related death.
The countrywide total of COVID-19 deaths stood as of the time of publishing the report of the agency’s data at 2,059.
The total number of discharged cases as recorded fir the time under review stood at 154,073.
