The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday night, announced 94 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-50, FCT-24, Kwara-9, Edo-4, Kaduna-3, Ondo-2 and Plateau-2.
The agency said two new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,154 on Sunday to 1,156 on Monday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 159 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 60,069 while 2,957 cases were still active in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 64,184.
Total discharged cases – 60,069.
Total deaths – 1,158.
