Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Tuesday night, announced 90 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 56,478 cases.
The agency also confirmed 5 deaths as the fatality figure increased from 1,083 on Monday night to 1,088 on Tuesday night.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with -33, Plateau-27, Kaduna-17, Ogun-6, FCT-4, Anambra-1, Ekiti-1 and Nasarawa-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that there were 10,960 active cases while 44,430 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
