Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 601 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 51,905 cases.
The data from the health agency showed that Lagos topped the list with 404, FCT-37, Oyo-19, Ondo-14, Abia-13, Enugu-13, Kaduna-13, Edo-12, Kano-12 and Kwara-11.
Others were Ebonyi-10, Nasarawa-7, Ogun-6, Osun-5, Delta-5, Niger-5, Plateau-4, Bayelsa-4, Katsina-3, Ekiti-2 and Imo-2.
It added the country had recorded 997 deaths due the pandemic. It further stated that there were 12,141 active cases, while 38,767 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
