The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, announced 300 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-255, FCT-27, Oyo-10, Kaduna-5, Ondo-2 and Kano-1.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,154.
The data from the agency disclosed that 24 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 59,884, while 3,026 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the Sunday report from Lagos State included updated cases recorded over the course of the last two days
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 64,090.
Total discharged cases – 59,910.
Total deaths – 1,154.
