Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Tuesday night, announced 239 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 54,247 cases.
The agency also confirmed 10 new deaths as the deaths figure increased from 1,013 on Monday night to 1,023 deaths on Tuesday night.
The health agency disclosed that Plateau had the highest record of the new cases with 116, followed by FCT-33, Lagos-19, Ekiti-12, Kaduna-11, Ogun-11, Ebonyi-8, Benue-7 and Abia-5
Others are Delta-5, Ondo-4, Edo-3, Imo-2, Osun-2 and Bauchi-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that there were 11,214 active cases while 42,010 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
