The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday night, announced 236 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-142, Ogun-19, Kaduna-15, FCT-14, Imo-14, Rivers-14, Plateau-6, Katsina-3, Ekiti-2, Jigawa-2, Oyo-2, Cross River-1, Kano-1 and Taraba-1.
The agency said no new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,163.
The data from the agency disclosed that 120 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 61,457 while 3,073 cases were still active in the country.
